RE: Eureka 7 43: Dude, Dewey, you're a friggin' nut.
I love how SPOILERSPOILER is the promised land.

RE: Emma Bangaihen ch 3: Eleanoooorrr~~~ D: She is soooo cuuuute. Earnest is cute too! I want one! Where do I get one?!

You know, Eleanor's sisters have terrible hair.

Gonna go watch more Eureka 7 instead of studying! Because I am a born failure!

Only two episodes left of Rozen Maiden! I'll watch 'em after work.
I can't get over Jun's retardo reaction to seeing the dolls in their underwear. XD Jun, what kind of pervert are you!?
I hope Traümend has more really dumb-but-hilarious eps á la ep 5.

And Suiseiseki should've stayed with Jun. The Suiseiseki content of the show is somewhat less, and this is unacceptable!!

Also I must comment on that guy who has a crush on Nori: You're never going to win. Give it up. And anyway, she makes really crappy tea (when they showed her making the tea in ep 10, I was like grooossssss, that's not how you make tea!).

I finally started putting together my lyrics site. :D It's not even nearly finished, but you can see what's up so far here. I know, the layout is wacky and it's impossible to read... :D;;
Also, the Japanese lyrics should be showing up in Shift JIS... if you can't get 'em to show up, please lemme know!

Today (after I finish watching Rozen Maiden) I really gotta do school crap. Xb Even though I resolved to be better about it, I haven't done a thing all week.. and Saturday Lichanyan and I are marathoning Princess Tutu and I gotta go to work for two hours to make up for yesterday, so I won't have much time to do anything then. Xbb I also haven't started working on the twins' clothes at all. x_x;; *lame*

Annnnd have some random doll photos. )

The teacher isn't here yet and it's already 11:00.. :/

Movies I must get ahold of for viewing purposes ASAP:

-All Dogs Go to Heaven (+sequel... wasn't as good as the first one but the girl(dog), man.. wasn't there a third one, too? I think there was...)

-Land Before Time (SHUT UP)

-Thumbelina (I've only ever seen this movie once, at the dawn of time)

-The Pebble and the Penguin (likewise)

-Anastasia (which has, really, the best songs ever... and who really gives a damn about historical accuracy, anyway?)

-The Princess and the Goblin (I know I've seen this at least once, a very long time ago, and I don't recall anything about it other than that there was a princess and some goblins)

-We're Back!

-Cats Don't Dance (I have never ever seen this movie)

-The Iron Giant (ditto)

-Once Upon a Forest (which I actually own, which'll make that easier!)

-Happily Ever After (I think I own this but I'm too lazy to go downstairs and check)

Years and years ago, Cartoon Network used to do a Friday movie special in the afternoons, and they showed this movie about a cat (and he had another cat who was his best friend, I think) who loved a pretty white girl cat, but though various circumstances they kept getting seperated... Things I recall:
-the boy cat had at least one experience with trains
-the boy cat eventually ended up in Alaska
-the girl cat may have been French, but she was living with another matron cat who was French (I think.. someone was French, somewhere!)

Does anyone have aaaaany idea what I'm talking about? I'd really like to know what this movie was...

I found the title before I even made this post... it's Gay Purr-ee. And it's even out on DVD! All the cats in it have adorable names, like "Mewsette" and "Jaune Tom" and "Meowrice" :3 And there's the "Mew-lon Rouge" XDD
So pleased! Have ordered it! XD;;

Also has anyone ever seen Balto II? Was that movie not the trippiest thing ever? Really, what the hell...

Why am I still awake?

Yeah I know this is another post, but I forgot to mention this yesterday, so there. I finally got a haircut! Shorter than it was previously! It's now just past the bottoms of my ears. SO nice not having any hair on the back of my neck when it's hoooot~.

Of course as soon as it grows an inch or so I'm gonna be more tempted than ever to dye it pink. If I did that and took off my pants I could cosplay Simca! XD;

(So sue me I really like Simca. I'm not as cute as her but it'd be a super easy cosplay anyway ¬_¬)

Maybe I should get some pink washout hair color and just do some random cosplay anyway.

...I need to make a gay hairdresser Spitfire icon. And a Simca icon. Actually my icons just need updating in general.

So it's come to my attention that people just don't get my obsession with Yuna.

Allow me to explain (spoilers unapologetically rampant) )

So there, I've explained myself. And now I can go to bed... I can't believe it's after 5AM already. x_x;;; WTF.

EDIT: Ohyeah...

Why Meg Cabot is in fact awesome.

On Tuesday Meg Cabot posted in her blog a letter to J.K. Rowling about how killing off your main characters is fun, and (jokingly) announced her intention to kill Mia in Princess Diaries #10.

So in today's post she says:
"And for the last time, people: I was KIDDING about killing off Mia, just like I was KIDDING about wanting Harry Potter to die. I don't want Harry Potter to die…except of old age after he's had a lot of hot wizard sex, which I hope we will get to read about in Book 8, Harry Potter Celebrates His Victory Over Voldemort with a Weekend at Hotel Erotica Cabo."

(note: the Hotel Erotica Cabo thing is from this post)

And people wonder why I like her so much.

Also:
-D.Gray-man 80 ends like SHIT and I couldn't even actually read it. Actually it probably ends worse because of that. :D;;

-D.Gray-man anime announcement has been confirmed... I wonder when. And what kind of crap they're going to do to the story, since there certainly isn't enough manga yet to have any kind of decent run... I can't imagine they'll pull one of those thirteen episodes and then it abruptly ends due to a lack of source material things.. it's a friggin' Jump manga. ¬_¬ So.. meh.

-I actually played some more X-2 today. I haven't actually played any KHII in a couple weeks, but I still keep hitting triangle when I want to talk to people, and X when I want to climb/jump. Which really doesn't work. I also hit select when I want the menu, and then wonder why it pauses.

Lichanyan - Did you get my email? And also I don't think I'm gonna be coming with you tomorrow after all.. 'cause I haven't even worked on Wen's dress at all and I've got Natalee's boys to suede as well. I will have Bell's dress done, though. You work 10-2, right? I already forgot... If I've finished the dress for Nancy before 2, I'll bring it to you at work, if not I'll just bring it over later.

And with all this old Disney show nostalgia, what do I find while cleaning my room? Darkwing Duck and Rescue Ranger coloring books. ♥ It is all I can do not to bust out my crayons right now.

(ps- I actually have far more coloring books than a girl my age should...)

EDITEDIT: Nothing to do with the aforementioned topic other than being another source of nostalgia, I also found the volumes (it's actually scary to say that) of various incarnations of The Notebook that I sitll have... including the Me-Sam-Chini-Lichanyan one... and Ali, I must ask, do you recall you had a character who was Vancouver's sister? XD This cracks me up. She appears to be kind of crazy (who wasn't?) but your hell-spawned handwriting from back in high school is giving me a headache.

I have a HUGE headache! :DDD

But I feel deep in my possibly hollow emu-bones that today is A DAY FOR DOING. And things are gonna get done. Never you mind that I didn't really feel this until after four o'clock.

Also I hereby proclaim Only Yesterday to be the best movie Studio Ghibli has made. Hands down. Anyone can argue, but I will just declare that they have no idea what they're talking about so there.
It is in fact the source of my enormous headache due to crying at the end (tears at movies are ten times as potent when you're crying because you're happy).

Life is good

Ah, life, how I enjoy wasting you away in fruitless pursuits...

That said, I am far more pleased than I should be that my dust-filled endeavor to locate the ancient videotape on which is recorded DuckTales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp ended in success.

Old Disney shows are calling to me lately. I feel a desire to purchase volumes one of Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and DuckTales that is battling it out with my desire to get the twins ASAP. Also volumes one of Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin come out the end of August. (Though I am also crying because they apparently no longer show these old masterpieces on Toon Disney late at night like they used to... I'm even missing the Aladdin TV series, that's how bad my cravings are.)

TaleSpin of course is a must buy. It is quite possibly the best animated Disney TV show ever. Possibly even the best animated show ever. It's got everything:
-seaplanes
-air pirates
-French air pirates I correct myself, Don Karnage was in fact vaguely Spanish rather than French...
-1930s setting
-King Louie
-Shere Khan as a mob boss
Also I had a huge crush on Kit when I was a little girl.

And it seems more volumes of the original TMNT show are out. I suppose I should finish watching the one I have.

Also someone on one of the Ouran comms mentioned some show that had more than a passing resemblence to Ouran called "Young Americans". Unable to resist plots that involve persons sneaking into schools that are strictly for the opposite gender, I am now happily downloading the eight episodes that aired.

I am also downloading Young Indiana Jones since I have wanted to watch it for ages and there was a torrent and it was active.

And now a shameless bid for stuff:
My birthday is July 31. If you have some burning desire to get me a gift, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VIII are high on my wish list (and under $20! 1¢ under still counts, right?).

Birthday party plans this year will like as not end up being yet another movie marathon, by the by. I am thinking of having everyone bring one movie they really like that no one has seen and we will have some sort of super eclectic marathon. And everyone will probably hate every movie except the one that they themselves brought.

Alternately, having also rediscovered my hoarde of ancient anime movies that were shown on the sci-fi channel back in the day, we could have a movie night of mocking dated animated sci-fi that no one has ever heard of.

Or maybe I should go to a bar and get drunk all by myself because no one else I know is 21 yet. SO MANY CHOICES.

Actually, if D's lack of internet is resolved in a timely manner and she actually sees this, what say you to having a joint birthday bash? It could even not be a movie marathon. We could go have a party at Chuck E. Cheese's, like all the cool kids do.
