Okay so I missed the rain. But I think there's more on the way. Hopefully it will not get here between now and twelve thirty. Or it will all pass between now and twelve.

I had a wacky dream last night. I do not recall the majority of it, other than that my family, some weird dude who I think was supposed to be my uncle, Sarah, and D were all at Disneyworld. We were playing Sonic the Hedgehog. I don't know.

The article I'm reading at the moment actually sounds a lot like an essay written by me. As in the dude has one point and keeps repeating it over and over again.

In other news, whenever I finish a bag of pretzel sticks I like to eat the salt. Is that weird?

The second Blood+ op/ed sequences remind me of the real reason I dislike Shinsen-subs: they can't be bothered to look up lyrics. I mean, yeah, HYDE's English fails, but "How many places you lately been"? WTF is that? It doesn't even sound like that (last I checked, "places" does not have a "kuh" sound in it) (for that matter, neither does "seen")

And I know the lyrics will be wrong for the entire thirteen eps this opening lasts. Because fixing it would mean compromising their karaoke effects (which are ugly anyway). Graaah.

It's even worse on the ending, when they decide that the lyrics are repeating "I don't wanna cry no more" when she's in fact not even singing English. No, I did not have to look this up to realize it was wrong. Mika Nakashima's English isn't that bad.

*whines repetitively*

I actually quite like "CRY NO MORE," btw, and want to transliterate it now but I don't have the song on Celeste and I'll probably forget I wanted to by the time I get home (only two more hours until class starts! Meaning only five more hours until I can LEAVE). Ah, well. I don't like it as much as "Kataritsugu koto," though. Chitose Hajime > Mika Nakashima IMHO.

But I hate "Season's Call." The openings for Blood+ fail hard. At least it's better than Hitomi Takahashi. *barf* At least I have the third opening and the fourth's hilariously nonsensical lyrics to look forward to.

I have been woken up about six times already by a mysterious rustling sound that stops when I try to investigate. The last time (about 6:00) I finally decided enough was enough and cleaned my whole room. I found a package of peanut-butter crackers that had been chewed open, so I guess the source of the sounds was our house mice... so I put all the other food I have in here up on my chair (all I really have is a bag of chips and a bag of cheese puffs) and hopefully the problem is solved.

Stupid friggin' mice. They (it?) appear(s) to have eaten the plastic wrapper as well, though. I hope they choke and die.

Back to bed now (as tempting as it is to just stay up and play XII... right).
