WOW.

I actually managed to more or less clean my room today, as opposed to saying I was cleaning and not actually cleaning anything. Hurrah! Probably tomorrow morning I will be photographing it's current state, which is likely as close as I'm ever going to get to taking before/after shots (I finally thought about it and decided I'm not going to paint the bathroom woodwork until the floor is replaced, because I'll have to paint it again after that anyway).

My computer is lagging incredibly. I wonder why... I'm not even doing anything except typing! It's just typing! C'mon, Quince! Stop sucking!

I'm probably in the tiny tiny minority on this one but I'm not going and downloading the new Avatar episodes. I look forward to my Avatar time every Friday! I need that Avatar time to steel me for Moonlight time, which is directly after. Yes, I'm still watching that show. No, it hasn't gotten any better. And Gay Friend wasn't even in last week's episode (we're a week behind due to Sarah being sick last week... I can't bear the thought of watching it by myself). Besides that, I have enough to watch during the week that I don't need to add extra Avatar episodes to the pile.

After I'm done with Honey & Clover completely, I'm planning to (finally) finish Bokura ga Ita, too. But we'll see about that. I'm strongly resisting starting up any more new shows this season, even though there are so many to choose from.

I also still need to watch this week's Heroes and Pushing Daisies... I should do that tonight, even though it looked like from the preview last week that Heroes is going to have far too much Peter Petrelli in it (Peter Petrelli isn't annoying me as much so far this season as he did last season, but I have so much built-up hate for him that it's pretty much impossible to get over). Speaking of Heroes, last week when Nathan shaved his hobo beard off? I was like "Who is that?" XD

I got the Odin Sphere soundtrack today, so all I really want to do is play that. e_e


For anyone who's wondering, yes, I did forget the costume again today. I swear, tomorrow I'm going to go back there and get it as soon as I get to work and just hang it in the break room. Also I am NOT LOOKING FOR THE REST OF THE UPSTAIRS STUFF. I REFUSE. REFUSE. REFUSE. I know I'm being a big baby about this, but for all I say "Oh, I hate doing that, so I'm not going to," I do always do it in the end. I'll shift the fucking ACs before I look for the rest of that nonfiction, though. I'm still annoyed from the week before last, when Circ was running with only three people almost all week and had no time and I spent an entire day looking for all the overdue shit downstairs and left like ten pages of upstairs stuff for Sarah to do and she didn't. Even though I (and Rosalie) told her that NO ONE ELSE COULD. Instead, I got lectured by Rosalie about it last week, even though it wasn't my fault it didn't get done (no one bothered to tell me on Thursday that it hadn't been done, or I would have done it then... I didn't look, though, because even though I knew deep down that Sarah hadn't done it I wanted to think that maybe she actually had).

How did I go from forgetting the costume to a full-fledged work rant? XD I just wish that, since I really do think it's largely my fault that Sarah sucks so bad at work lately, my own current attempts to stop being such a slacker myself will also influence her... That's too much to hope for, though, isn't it? And I know I was slacking a bit today, but as soon as Gayle gave me something to do I immediately went and did it (while I was chatting with Ali, the shelves in the circ room were completely, non-exaggeratedly empty, and Gayle was out on the desk so I couldn't ask her for anything, and when she attempted to engage me in conversation when I was on my way back upstairs I stopped her, didn't I (note that she was attempting to talk to me, not vice-versa; I had only gone by her to show her that one of the books I was supposed to be looking for was entitled "ummy Title" on the list, since I had to pass her to get to the stairs and "ummy Title" was too amusing not to share)). See, I'm a good girl. Sometimes. I even avoided Liz's request for help in taking stuff off the walls in the theater with Ali, since it was something that could easily be done by one person and at that point still did have things to shelve (I was in the children's area then because I forgot to ask Ali if she could still go to the movie today, and I wanted to make sure I did so before I forgot... but again, I only asked her that and then left instead of chatting).

By the by, I did not go to see the movie today, because the only people I know who want to see it live in Austin or California. Maybe I really will just go see it by myself. Going to see movies by myself because I have no friends is totally in my character, right?

Hey Ali where are we watching it? Because I sure don't know!

If anyone else wants to watch it with us, do speak up! Though I think everyone else I know locally has not experienced the joy of Avatar, for whatever reason. Hn, maybe that's even more of a reason to come! Of course if it's going to be more than just Ali and I, we'll do it at my house, because I guess I can't invite people to Ali's.

This is depressing. Especially since I only just now found out. He's the guy who voices Iroh in Avatar.

Though from what I've heard they recorded all of season two already but after that it's gonna be weird.

Well, that was a good two-episode movie thing....

I actually think I want more of High-On-Cactus-Juice Sokka.
And Zuzie was adorable in this ep.. all being a brat, and totally doing the Sokka stupid pose thing when Uncle came out of the secret meeting. He gets more endearing every episode (and I'm finally used to his hair.. XD)

but WTF. Have weekly episodes been eschewed for monthly movie events? This makes me sad.
