(The Gaylord in question is one of the top suppliers for library, uh, supplies, btw. And Ali, apparently there are Gaylord Brothers! I guess there must be a monastery somewhere down there too!)
(Though, come to think of it, after they lose that other scroll near the end of the book I guess it really is over rock and under sea...)

Ones that creak at night and have their own characteristic scents. Ones with fading wallpaper and fading paint and floors with tracks worn into them from the countless number of people who have walked across them!!!

Phil apparently did shopping yesterday in place of mother and bought THE WRONG COOKIES. They lack the gigantic chocolate chunks that I have come to enjoy. My grand plan to have cookies for lunch has been foiled, so instead I will have a banana and maybe some watermelon.
