So... I just watched Kumi Koda's "4 hot wave" PVs. "JUICY" was about what you'd expect for a Kumi PV with that title. "With your smile" was actually cute, and continued the silly Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones thing they had going in "JUICY" (except with more pants). Then "I'll be there" had the most hideous fake nails I have ever seen (and actually even less pants than "JUICY"). Also no story. Then... "Ningyo-hime" comes along...

Huh?

I know I really shouldn't be trying to make sense of that but...

In other news, I actually made something for Llyr today! Shocking! He now has awesome stripy denim pants. :D He will have a new shirt when my wrists recover (carpal tunnel's acting up... why am I on the computer, then?). And then I can finally do his super-late birthday photostory. XD;; Though it'll really be a couple of days, since I'm gonna be totally out of commission Monday (I have to be at the hospital at 6:00AM T_T The surgery's not even until 10:30!!) and I have no idea what shape I'll be in Tuesday. I wanna try to get up to UH and price books if I'm not still entirely dead... If Lichanyan comes along and feels like it/has time, perhaps we can bring a few kids with us and take pics. :x Dunno. Certainly not making any promises.

I've also got two outfit ideas for Wen, and a pretty simple outfit to make for Bell... I still have no idea what to make for Eli, but I'm toying with the idea of making matching outfits for him and Sheba because it would be CUTE.

In other news, I finally got the chapter I was missing from Ouran 4, so now I can actually read the volumes I own, and will probably take even longer about getting 1-4. :D;

I wanna write something based on "Thousandfurs" (aka "All-Kinds-of-Fur" but I think "Thousandfurs" sounds better. If you don't know the story you can read it here.

I did start one that's vaguely inspired by "Six Swans" (read). Very vaguely, though. It involves no swans (or ravens), anyway. Nor is there a crazy mother-in-law (yet, anyway) at the end.

Again unrelated, but I started reading The Enchanted Castle by E. Nesbit the other day. Old children's books often rock. This one certainly does. I love how Gerald keeps sweet-talking all the adults, and calls everyone diminutive names, no matter their age, and also narrates his own actions (referring to himself as "our hero" which at one point prompted his brother to tell him to stop because he certainly wasn't his hero).

This is not the main purpose of this post, but: Does anyone know what those things are called that are made when lightning strikes the sand in a desert or beach? The little funky tubes of glass? :x

For mostly Ali:
Beach plan is on! We are meeting here (being my house) at 1:15 and heading down to the beach together. Bring lunch! We will then frolic on the beach until we get sick of it and then return to my house for cake and, if anyone feels like it, movies (hey, if you still have Northfork, bring that... I never got to watch it 'cause the DVDs suck at work).

So that is the plan!

(EDIT) Thinking more I realize that if we do end up watching some movies when we come back, you guys might want to bring a change of clothes. Sitting around watching movies in damp swimsuits with sand in them doesn't really sound all that comfortable/enjoyable.

Off to go finally finish painting! Hopefully! Expect a post with further in-depth Air Gear rantage later. That was a warning.
